Sormet laulua etsii (~”Fingers In Search of a Song”) is up at Porvoon Taidehalli / Porvoo Art Hall until February 23rd.
”Fingers in Search of a Song” consists of textile artworks, a three-dimensional composition, and a human nest constructed from postcards. This piece serves as an almost silent counterpart to ’Halki pilvien’ (~”Through the Clouds”), an audio album released by Tomutonttu last year, yet it is also interwoven with unwavering gentleness and an independent perspective on humanity’s stumbling development.
On the day the show closes Tomutonttu will give a concert at Taidehalli.
Before that, February 13th Tomutonttu has been invited to perform next to the Circle’s Piste installation. Also performing Anla Courtis!
Next up for Tomutonttu – Japan tour in May! More info soon.
