Lyhty creature (born 2017) is part of Oudon äärellä (“Something Strange – Media Art for Children) exhibition at Annantalo in Helsinki. The show was curated by kids and has art made by kids next to the work by grown-up artists. Oudon äärellä is organised by Annantalo Arts Centre and Artist Association MUU and will be open til the end of September. Here’s a Yle article about it Finnish.
I’m preparing new material for a rare Tomutonttu performance at SOLA Festival of experimental music and moving image. Tomutonttu will be performing May 13th at WHS Teatteri Union. That’s in Helsinki. The whole program looks very exciting!
War is the worst nightmare and I feel powerless. In connection to the war in Ukraine Tomutonttu made a track for a We Have No Zen benefit compilation.
